EDITION WOOD decanter on a wooden base

With the EDITION WOOD decanter on a wooden base made of pear wood, wine culture can be celebrated in a contemporary way. The carafe is hand-blown from high-quality crystal glass and forms a harmonious unit with the wooden base, which is cut, glued and turned by hand in Germany.

The treatment of the pear wood with oil emphasizes the structure of the pear wood and gives the wood a smooth glass. This should be done from time to time by re-oiling e.g. can be freshened up with linseed oil.

Instructions for freshening up the wood structure with oil

• Apply the oil to the clean and dry wood surface with a cloth.
• Spread the oil in the direction of the grain and massage in.
• Let the oil work for 15 to 20 minutes.
• It can now be oiled again as required.
• Remove excess oil with a dry paper towel or cloth.

For cleaning and maintaining the decanter, we recommend our cleaning pearls, the decanter dryer, which easily dries even hard-to-reach places inside glass vessels, and the polishing cloth.

Hand wash recommended.
